Sweets and Treats
Do you ever find yourself craving the sweets and treats only available at the Fair? It’s like the ultimate cheat day that rolls into town once a year! Well if you’re missing out on all your favorite fair foods, I’ve lined up a few places to hold you over until next year.
Funnel Cake Queen
What’s the fair without a funnel cake? Can you even claim to have been without indulging in at least one? I think not!
Funnel Cake Queen offers 3 sizes of cakes and more than a dozen toppings to customize to your liking. They also offer the infamous fried Oreos dusted with powdered sugar and sure to please children and adults alike.
This is a popular spot, with long lines. Expect to wait at least 20 minutes before getting to the window and placing your order. It’s well worth the wait!

Tabor’s Tasty Treats
One of my favorite treats, whether at the fair or not, is dipped apples!
Tabor’s Tasty Treats is a local food truck typically set up on the corner of Mastin Lake and Pulaski Pike. They provide a variety of apples such as white chocolate with Oreos to the strawberry crunch, as well as cupcakes, and fried Oreos. Not only are the flavor combinations unique, but the apples are also beautiful!

Mr. Biggs BBQ
It’s common to see people roaming around the county fair enjoying smoked turkey legs. They’re big, don’t require utensils, and are quite filling. They are also one of the healthier options making them a great balance to all the sweets on this list.
Mr. Biggs BBQ is the premier location to satisfy your turkey leg craving. Using a family smoking method that’s been passed down from generation to generation, these will be some of the best turkey legs you’ve ever had!
*Turkey legs are not offered daily. We recommend contacting Mr. Biggs before visiting or just enjoying whatever is on the menu that day.

Sno-Boss
Snow cones are the perfect end to a long day at the fare. While I’ve never come across this particular type at a fare, the spin they’ve added makes them extra special and 100% worthy of being included on our list of fair foods!
Sno-Boss New Orleans style snoballs offers 36 flavor varieties and 9 gourmet snoballs stuffed with cheesecake and condensed milk. They’re fun, whimsical, and truly a treat!
