Momentum continues to build at Stadium Commons, one of Huntsville’s most anticipated mixed-use developments.
Crunkleton Commercial Real Estate recently announced that construction on phase two officially began on May 15, marking another major milestone for the growing development located between South Memorial Parkway and John Hunt Park.
The news comes just weeks after VSL Nail Spa opened its doors on May 21, adding another tenant to the project’s expanding lineup. The luxury nail boutique joins recently opened retailers including Free People, FP Movement, and Ferren Boutique, as well as popular Nashville-based restaurant Hattie B’s Hot Chicken.

As work progresses, Stadium Commons continues to take shape as a destination designed to bring together shopping, dining, hospitality, and community gathering spaces in one central location.
Additional phase one openings are expected later this year, including Juniper’s, a new American restaurant concept from Power Brands Hospitality Group.
When complete, the 18-acre development will feature more than 200,000 square feet of commercial space, a 145-room Hyatt Place hotel, and a central plaza and green space designed to host live music, events, and community programming.
Located on Huntsville’s growing southeast side, Stadium Commons is positioned near John Hunt Park, the medical district, downtown Huntsville, and several established residential neighborhoods, making it one of the city’s most significant commercial developments currently under construction.
