Vintage Karma Wine Studio

7540 C South Memorial Parkway
Huntsville, AL 35802

We spent Saturday evening at Vintage Karma Wine Studio on South Parkway. A newer addition to South Huntsville, open about five months, Vintage Karma is refined yet relaxed and elevated yet comfortable.

Each week, patrons can visit and choose a glass, or two, from one of eight selections which rotate weekly. The offerings start with bubbles and work their way through whites all the way down to reds. Everyone in your party have the same palate? You can also order a bottle of wine for the table. Not sure what you would like to try? A flight is your best bet. A glass of wine typically runs $9-$14 but they always feature a high end offering as well. Sneak a peek at the top of the menu each week for a fun song lyric.

We sat outside Saturday night, the patio is dog friendly, and I enjoyed chatting with one of the owners. In addition to being dog friendly, the patio does have an overhang so you’re prepared for sun or rain.

In addition to eight weekly selections, Vintage Karma also offers open tastings on Thursday and Saturday evenings with the option to schedule a personal tasting as well. They also have the opportunity to join a wine club that meets at the end of each month.

The owners wanted to create an environment where friends could meet and catch up and they’ve definitely succeeded and many of their regulars they’ve come to consider friends themselves. The décor is Instagram ready but it’s also comfortable with nooks and seating areas throughout the space.

You’re welcome to bring in your own snacks and food but they do have light charcuterie available. With Rosie’s and PaPPo’s in the same shopping center, you have two great built in options and you can call your order into PaPPo’s and they will walk it over to you.

In addition to offering wines by the glass and tastings and a wine club, they are also a bottle shop. Find a wine you love? Buy a bottle to take home. And, on top of all of the above, they do also feature some great gift selections for the wine lover in your life. (It’s okay if it’s you.)

It’s also a lovely event space. I attended the VIP Friends and Fiction evening there in support of Huntsville Madison County Public Library and it was simply perfect. They even paired a wine with a book by each of the four authors in attendance.

Make sure to follow them on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with all of the happenings and offerings. Have you been yet?
