1. Snow White and the 7 Littles

Date: February 17 – 19
Location: VBC Playhouse

Snow White is not waiting for a knight in shining armor – find this new twist on a classic about kindness, community, and the true meaning of beauty.

2. The Underground Railroad: Journey to Freedom

Date: Saturday, February 18
Time: 10am – 3:30pm
Location: Burritt on the Mountain
Event Information

Come learn the history of the Underground Railroad, immerse yourself in the stories of some of the secret journeys, and hear how the stories themselves were passed on.  Experience an interactive trip through our Historic Park when you put yourself in the shoes of one of the brave individuals who resisted slavery. 

3. Mardi Gras Parade

Dates: Saturday, February 18
Time: 4:30pm
Location: Downtown Huntsville
Event Information

Bring all the traditional Mardi Gras bling and let the fun begin! The parade starts at 4:30pm in Downtown Huntsville.

4. Community Free Day

Date: Sunday, February 19
Time: 12 – 5pm
Location: Huntsville Museum of Art
Event Information

The Museum will have free admission on Sunday, February 19. Celebrate Black History Month by viewing “Looking at the Collection: African American Art and Artists” and take part in our annual fundraiser by viewing the “2023 Gala Art Exhibition.”

5. Mardi Gras Paw Parade

Date: Sunday, February 19
Time: 1 – 3pm
Location: MidCity
Event Information

They are teaming up with local pet rescues to throw a HUGE PET PAWTY! Bring your fur babies dressed up in Mardi Gras costumes for a Parade! Pet costume contest, pets up for adoption, live music with Soul Brass Band, and more!
