Ladies and Gentlemen, Fusion Barbecue is for real! This new addition in the Lincoln Mill District is ready to serve up some of the most exciting fusions you’ve ever tasted. Fusion combines Asian-inspired flavors and southern slow-cooked barbecue, and the taste is out of this world.

Before we get to the food, I’d like to talk about the vibe Fusion has set up. Between the modern rock playing in the background and a bright-colored light show above the dining room, you can’t help but feel like this will be a cool place to be on the weekends.

Now let’s talk about the food! I took my sister with me to try this place out, and we were both blown away by the flavors of each item we received.

The first item we ordered was their Pork Belly Bao Buns. We are both big fans of pork belly, and these did not disappoint! The pork belly was crispy and perfectly cooked.

My sister chose the Spicy K-Pop Burger with the Black Garlic Fries. This burger can be a Chuck, Brisket, or Short Rib Patty. It also included a fried egg, jalapeño bacon, Korean barbecue sauce, Japanese white sauce, butter lettuce, tomato, and cheddar cheese. Now repeat after me… DELICIOUS!

And I went with the Beef Plate Rib, Smackin’ Cheese, and Buttered Brussels. Now repeat after me… TUMS! It was worth every chewable Tums I had that evening, though. The Kalbi glaze was a great touch, and the beef rib was also cooked perfectly! I also feel like I would have been fine if someone just brought me a massive bowl of the Buttered Brussels because… Oh my goodness! Those were fantastic! As you can see below, I enjoyed every bit of my meal!

The last thing I want to talk about with Fusion is their service. Fusion has embraced the QR menu to its full potential. You order and pay for nearly EVERYTHING from the QR menu and your phone. I’m a massive fan of this concept, and the servers seemed to be too! Everything we ordered from the phone/QR Menu was brought to us quickly and from people happy to serve us.

There are many great things happening in the Lincoln Mill District these days, and Fusion Barbecue is one of them! Their grand opening is June 1st, and you won’t want to miss it!
