Today we made a purposeful stop at Krab Kingz of Huntsville, a new addition to the Huntsville Restaurant Scene, bringing the amazing flavors and taste of seafood to the Rocket City. In addition to Jones Valley, the Krab Kingz team hope to additionally open a sister location off Oakwood Ave in the coming months.
Upon arriving at the next best place, I walked in and heard more greetings & welcomes than CiCi’s, Chick Fil A, and Moe’s Southwestern Grill combined. Seriously… best welcome to any dining establishment ever. Immediately I was handed a postcard sized menu with a cruise ship sized menu offering. While standing in line I was faced with a dilemma should I get the #1 which consisted of 3 Snow Crabs, 17 Shrimp, 2 Sausages, 2 Corn, 2 Eggs & Potatoes (worth noting, “Feeds 2” which I took as relative, I equate to 2 people).
Concerned the #1 wouldn’t be enough, I could take on the #6 boasting 10 Snow Crab, 50 Shrimp, 5 Sausages, 5 Corn, Eggs & Potatoes (Again worth noting, “Feeds 5”… probably relative). I ended up being sensible and enjoying the #3 with 2 Snow Crabs, 1 Sausage, 1 Corn, Egg & Potatoes. My wonderful counterpart partook in the #8 Shrimp Platter, which interestingly enough I enjoyed as well.
While I was waiting I was able to sit back and take in the atmosphere the owners have bestowed on this new Huntsville gem. Multiple families were in booths enjoying a nice early dinner, music was rolling, and the Krab Kingz team was tight in running the show and enjoying life. I most certainly felt from the moment I walked in from the best greeting in town, to sitting and taking this all in, it is a family environment. I felt that I belonged not just because I wanted seafood but because the Krab Kingz team wanted me to feel at home. To ensure you understand what I mean, I was brought an extra treat during my wait, a buttered steamed & seasoned Lobster Tail. It was cooked so much to perfection the meat fell out while I tried to devour it, obviously I was in public and needed to be reserved.
The next dinner you should be planning is visiting my friends over at the Krab Kingz in Jones Valley. They are waiting to greet you as they did me and ensure you also feel that you are family and at home during your visit. Just make sure you bring a bib or a darker colored shirt… don’t be like me and nearly ruin your white shirt, however the food was so good that it was worth it.
