“Not Your Average Pizza” for National Pizza Day
Earth and Stone Wood Fired Pizza
- The Latham – White sauce, sweet potatoes, caramelized onions, Humble Heart chevre and mozzarella/provolone. Give it a try in their new digs at Yellowhammer Brewing. (Yes, you read that right…sweet potatoes on a pizza)

- Mushroom Flatbread – Technically not a pizza, it’s “pizza” enough for this list! With Humble Heart chevre, mozzarella, mushrooms and sage. It’s on or our favorite things to order for lunch.
Pane e Vino
- Monet Pizza – A really amazing combination of prosciutto and arugula, tomato and mozzarella. Prosciutto makes a great pizza topping!
The Boot Pizzeria
- Carbonara Pizza – Eggs and bacon on a pizza. Give it a try.
Cork & Crust Pizzeria
- Stroganoff Pizza – Garlic cream cheese base with short ribs, mushrooms and onions. It’s a rich pizza that goes great with a pint of beer.
