Family Fun

These events are geared towards kids and family. Your little pumpkins love an excuse to wear a costume!

EarlyWorks Halloween Bash

  • Date and Time: Friday, October 25, 4:30 – 7:30 pm
  • Location: Constitution Hall Park
  • Cost: $5/child, $3/adults

Calling all witches, monsters, and ghosts, The Alabama Constitution Hall Park will be your host.

BOOtanica

  • Date and Time: Saturday, October 26, 10 am – 12 pm
  • Location: Huntsville Botanical Garden
  • Cost: $5 members and $5 plus admission for non-members

Put on your costumes and come on out to Huntsville Botanical Garden. Visit the BOO-tterfly House for Trick-or-Treating and join in the popular Costume Parade.

Fall Family Fun Days

A Night in the Upside Down – Teen Ball

  • Date and Time: October 26, 8 – 12 pm
  • Location: Huntsville/ Madison County Main Public Library
  • Cost: Adults: $10 in advance; $15 at the door

Teens and Tweens only! Popup Arcade by Pints and Pixels, with refreshments, themed escape rooms, cosplay contest and more.

Halloween Comic Fest at The Deep!

  • Date and Time: October 26, 10 am – 4 pm
  • Location: Huntsville/ Madison County Main Public Library
  • Cost: Adults: $10 in advance; $15 at the door

Spooky Space Spectacular

  • Date and Time: October 31, 4:30 – 8:30 pm
  • Location: U.S. Space and Rocket Center
  • Cost: $5 per person or $20 for a family of five

Science experiments, live entertainment by Dr. Osborne, simulators and sweet treats. Wear your best costume and get ready to have a spooky good time!

Family Friendly Murder Mystery Dinner

  • Date and Time: October 31, 5:30 – 7:30 pm
  • Location: Historic Lowry House
  • Cost: Adults $30, kids $15
  • Event Information

A murder mystery dinners that’s KID-FRIENDLY:  “Murder at Skull Manor.” Anyone aged  10+  is invited to act in the mystery… no one will be turned away!  …OR,  choose to be a detective and solve the mystery! Goodie Bags included AND time to Trick-Or-Treat after the mystery/ dinner!

Rocket City Pride’s Masquerade Ball

  • Date and Time: Friday, October 25, 8 – 12 pm
  • Location: Campus 805
  • Cost: $25

All pronouns and all orientations are welcome to attend. This event is for the community and not a specified demographic. The theme of the prom is a Masquerade Ball, so we ask that you come dressed to impress in your Ball attire, but not required. 

The Harrowing of Straight to Ale – A Pageant of the Occult

A night of beer, music, and pagan ritualism. The gymnasium at Straight to Ale (Campus 805) will be dark, decked out, and frightening.

Rocky Horror Night at The Furniture Factory

The Camp Presents Hip Hop Halloween!

Step out as your favorite hip hop artist or horror movie character for an epic Halloween Night!🎃 Enjoy the one & only In tune with tmill as the night’s host, DJ Blu Nation dropping the beats that make you dance, & a live graffiti artist Chris Denenny spraying a spooky piece in action! Come craving strong libations and ghostly goodies to eat & drink all night. No cover charge!

Halloween Horsejackery at Stovehouse

Since the kiddos will likely be roaming the neighborhoods, this is a night for (mostly) adults. Costume contest and prizes, Graewave, spooky photo ops & more!

Stone Center Spooktacular

A Halloween event designed for adults, that includes music – the Undead DJ – lots of games, drink specials, and a costume contest. There are cash prizes for best costumes including Best Group Costume and Best Individual Costume.

Electric Spookaloo 2019

  • Date and Time: November 1, 5 – 11 pm
  • Location: Salty Nut Brewery
  • Cost: $10

5 bands performing, with costume contest, raffle, art vendors and more.

Nightmare on Church Street

  • Date and Time: November 1, 7 – 11 pm
  • Location: The Roundhouse

Nightmare on Church Street is coming back to Huntsville downtown for 2019! Live band, cash bar, some unique decorations, and 600 of your closest costumed friends.

Monster Mash Halloween Bash

  • Date and Time: November 1, 8 pm – 12 am
  • Location: Yellowhammer Brewery
  • Event Information

A night of classic horror movies and spooky beats! Dress in your scariest costumes to win some gruesome prizes. Bride of Frankenhammer 2019 on tap as well as other festive brews and cocktails. DJ Matt Wake spins and Classic Horror Movies will be projected in the Lounge all night .
