Huntsville is jam-packed with summer concerts and many of them are FREE, FREE, FREE (our favorite kind)!  And to make sure you don’t miss any of the live music, we’ve created this Huntsville Summer Concerts Guide 2019.

Tuesday Evening Concerts at the Library

Day & Time: Tuesdays, 6 – 8 pm
Location: Huntsville/Madison County Public Library Atrium, Main branch in downtown Huntsville
Cost: FREE

City Lights and Stars

Day & Time: Fridays, Gates open at 6:30 pm; Concert from 7:30-9 pm
Location: Burritt on the Mountain
CostMembers $10 in advance, Non-Members $15 in advance, $15 at the gate for all. Children 12 & under is $5.
What you can bring: Picnic, blankets, lawn chairs
What you cannot bring: Pets or outside alcohol

Concerts at Historic Three Caves

Day & Time: Free shuttle from HSV Hospital begins at 5:30 pm; Music begins at 7 pm
Location:  Land Trust’s unique Three Caves
Cost: $30-55
Tickets: Available at The Land Trust website
What you can bring: Lightweight jacket
What you should not bring:
 Please, no pets or outside food/beverages
Available On-site: Food Truck; wine and craft beer for purchase

Line-Up:

  • June 15 – In Concert: Mother’s Finest; Opening Artists: Unknown Lyric
  • August 10 – In Concert: Kenny Neal; Opening Artist: Microwave Dave and the Nukes

Concerts in the Park

Day & Time: Mondays, 6:30-8 pm
Location: Big Spring Park
Cost: FREE; Brought to you by Arts Huntsville and The City of Huntsville
What you can bring: blankets, chairs, pets on a leash, a picnic from home
What will be available: food trucks will be on-site
Line-Up: TBD


Madison Gazebo Concerts

Day & Time: Thursdays, 6:30 to 8:30 pm
Location: Gazebo in downtown Madison
Cost: FREE; Brought to you by Madison Arts Council
What you can bring: blankets, chairs, pets on a leash, a picnic from home
What will be available: Food vendors will be on-site selling fresh sandwiches, artisan teas, fruit, snow cones, and more!

Space and Rocket Center Shuttle Park Concert

Day & Time: : Saturday July 20, 7 pm

US Space and Rocket Center- under the Saturn V

Tangled String Music Festival

Under the Lights

Clinton Ave. and Northside Square

 FREE; Brought to you by Downtown Huntsville, Inc. and Colliers
What you can bring: blankets, chairs, pets on a leash, a picnic. Drinks purchased from establishments inside the Entertainment District are permitted.

Downtown Huntsville at Washington Street

$10 suggested donation
What you can bring: Bag chairs (festival seating), pets on a leash on the street
What you cannot bring: No coolers, no outside food or beverages
Available On-site: Food and beverages available for purchase by host venues Washington Square / Humphreys Bar and Grill and The Bottle.


Women in Music Weekend
