Historic Downtown Walking Tour

Historic Downtown Huntsville Tours: Old Town Historic District Location: Leaving from Alabama Constitution Village
Days and Times: Fridays @ 9am:  30 minutes long

Breakfast Trolley Tour

Location: Leaving from Alabama Constitution Village
Days and Times: Saturdays @ 10am;  June- September
Price: $15 per person

Breakfast Trolley Tour Enjoy a light breakfast and coffee aboard a 1920’s vintage-inspired trolley bus, while touring downtown Huntsville and the Twickenham historic district.  Narrated by Historic Interpreters, you’ll hear stories about people and places from Huntsville’s Past worth repeating, and some definitely worth repeating!

Huntsville Ghost Walks

Days and Times: Saturdays @ 6pm; June through November 1 (Trolley tours- August through October only)
October only:  Fridays @ 6pm; Saturdays @ 6 pm and 8pm
Price: $10.00 for adults,$5.00 for children 12 and under; Trolley- $12.00 for adults, $10.00 for children 12 and under

Get a little bit of ghostly fun with a lot of Huntsville history from the Huntsville Ghost Walk.  You can expect wonderful storytelling as well as accurate peeks into Huntsville’s past.  All walking tours are approximately 2 hours long with completely different stories and all are equally wonderful.

Spring Garden Tour

Join the Historic Huntsville Foundation for a tour of five private gardens in the heart of the Twickenham and Old Town historic districts.  Located on Randolph Avenue and Calhoun Street, the featured gardens are in easy walking distance and offer a wonderful opportunity to enjoy our city’s oldest historic districts in full bloom on a glorious late spring day.

The diverse group of gardens that will appeal to everyone – from the informal garden that peeks from behind a bungalow to the more formal, structured garden that graciously embraces a federal style home. Tickets will be sold at the gardens on the day of the tour.

Self Guided Tour

Historic Downtown Huntsville Tours: Historic Downtown Walking Tours Travel through the past in our downtown historic districts at your own pace. Twickenham, Old Town, and Five Points are listed on the National Register of Historic Places and this brochure, available for free from The Huntsville/Madison County Convention & Visitors Bureau, includes locations such as Harrison Brothers Hardware, Church of the Nativity, the Thomas Bibb House, and the Weeden House Museum.
