The U.S. Space and Rocket Center is hosting Lunch with an Astronaut this summer. The barbecue buffet lunch is held from noon – 1:30 p.m. and includes a presentation by the astronaut, a question and answer session, as well as time for photographs and autographs. Drum Corps International (DCI), is “Marching Music’s Major League”. This event is one in a series of more than 100 national events that make up the annual Drum Corps International Tour. These performing ensembles are comprised of up to 150 brass musicians, percussionists, and dance performers age 14-22. Marching performances feature visual formations and stunning choreography set to musical arrangements that may incorporate a variety of musical genres including classical, jazz and pop.
