When I first moved to Huntsville I decided to join various groups as a way of making friends and getting to know my new community. After spending the last six years with many different groups, often trying to organize events for those groups, I have come to realize a universal truth…people have a really hard time finding places to meet. So to help you out, here is my short list of group friendly restaurants in Huntsville. To my mind, the best places
Can seat groups of at least 10 people
Are friendly and accommodating
Are centrally located and easy to find
Have a broad enough menu that most everyone can find something they enjoy on the menu
Offer alcohol for more social events
That said, my top spots are: 3 Skillets, Fulin’s, and Zoe’s Kitchen.
Group Friendly Restaurants Pick #1: 3 Skillets
With local, sustainable ingredients, 3 Skillets takes down home cooking and ups the foodie factor. (Quail and waffles? Pot roast sliders? All around delicious). Their upstairs room or outdoor patio offer room for medium sized groups (8-12 people) and they also offer catering.

Group Friendly Restaurants Pick #2: Fulin’s
Conveniently located for the Madison folk, Fulin’s offers a dedicated party room that seats 12-15 and a large overhead projector in the main room. A relaxing atmosphere and enticing food make this a spot to linger in good company.
With fresh, Mediterranean styled food and a casual atmosphere, Zoe’s is a great spot for group get togethers where people are going to float in and out. They offer lots of smaller tables which can be pushed together and pulled apart as needed, as well as a large patio for grabbing those good weather days.
