Spring is the perfect time to enjoy a meal or a drink outside, and luckily Huntsville has some great spots with amazing outdoor space.

Here are our favorite spots for dining al fresco:

Table in The Garden table in the garden

This would not be a list of outdoor patios without Table in The Garden at Huntsville Botanical Gardens.

Enjoy a bacon pimento cheese sandwich and some strawberry cake (seriously the BEST!) while surrounded by beautiful landscaping in quite possibly the prettiest spot in Huntsville.

Address: 4747 Bob Wallace Ave SW Suite B, Huntsville, AL 35805

Bandito Burrito bandito cat

Coolest patio award goes to Bandito Burrito with their string lights, picnic tables, and CATS!

That’s right, friendly neighborhood cats just might join you for a bite of that green bean burrito. Or should we say “purrito”.

Address: 3017 Governors Dr SW, Huntsville, AL 35801

Cotton Row

Cotton Row offers fine dining on the square, and we are all about it.

Their brunch is a favorite of ours, and enjoying the Fried Green Tomato Benedict while watching people walk around the city on a Sunday afternoon is a joy.

Address: 100 Southside Square, Huntsville, AL 35801

Commerce Kitchen commerce kitchen

Head over to Commerce Kitchen and enjoy a southern-inspired meal outside in the heart of downtown Huntsville.

We love sitting outside and looking across Franklin street at the beautiful buildings and businesses, and it doesn’t hurt that Green Bus Brewing is just a stone’s throw away.

Address: 300 Franklin St SE, Huntsville, AL 35801

Campus 805: Straight To Ale Brewing and Yellowhammer Brewing ales kitchen

You can argue over which patio is better (seriously, you all feel strongly about your favorite!), but all we know is we love them both and thoroughly enjoy the food at Ale’s Kitchen and Earth and Stone Pizza. And don’t forget the ice cream!

Address (Campus 805): 2620 Clinton Ave W, Huntsville, AL 35805

Humphrey’s

The best courtyard in Huntsville. Or is it New Orleans? You be the judge. Add brunch and some live music or football for the ultimate Sunday experience. Also, they have ½ off burgers on Tuesdays starting at 5, and we hear their wings are great.

Address: 103 Washington Street Northeast, Huntsville, AL 35801
