1. Witchy Wares & Other Fares – Halloween Maker’s Market

Date: Friday, October 14

A spooktacular maker’s market just in time for Halloween! Shop locally handmade unique items and gifts, located just off the Patio with music starting at 4pm!

2. Chalktoberfest

Dates: Saturday, October 15
Time: 11 am – 2 pm
Location: Bridge Street
Event Information

Chalk art festival located around the Belk Courtyard and throughout Bridge Street at participating retailers and restaurants. There will be live music, balloon artist, face painting and more. 

3. Bluegrass & BBQ Festival

Dates: Saturday, October 15
Time: 2 – 8 pm
Location: South Side Park
Event Information

Featuring one of Alabama’s most cherished bluegrass bands, Three on a String, along with Another Town, and Justin & Angelica Branum. Grab your picnic blanket or chair and enjoy some amazing music in South Huntsville!

4. 247th USMC Birthday Party

Date: Saturday, October 15
Time: 5 – 10:30 pm

The Marine Corps Birthday party celebration is back, a little early this year, featuring music, pizza, cake, silent auction, and special “Valor” Double Black IPA brewed for the Marine Corps birthday and Veterans Day. 

5. Microwave Dave Day 

Dates: Sunday, October 16
Location: Stovehouse
Time: 3 pm
Event Information

This year’s event will feature over 75 local musicians playing on 3 stages. Donations from the festival benefit the Microwave Dave Music Education Foundation.

Records & Retro Market

Dates: Sunday, October 16
Time: 11 am – 5 pm
Location: The Orion Amphitheater

Celebrating all things groovy, this market will feature local and regional music vendors offering everything from vinyl and CDs to memorabilia and equipment. The market will also feature retro pop-up shops with anything and everything vintage – clothing, housewares, art, jewelry, and more.
