Things to do This Weekend in Huntsville, AL, November 5 – 7, 2021

1. Round Top Folk Festival

Date: Friday, November 5 & Saturday, November 6 Location: Burritt on the Mountain
Event Information   Kickoff the festival with an evening of stellar music, food trucks, and a cash bar. Saturday, view (and purchase) works from local artisans and craftspeople, enjoy a variety of music groups, food trucks, craft beer, and more. Tickets range $10-$35.

Bring a blanket, bring a chair, and bring a friend!

2. Havoc Country Moo-sic Night

Date: Friday, November 5
Time: 7 pm
Location: VBC Propst Arena
Event Information

Enjoy Country Moosic all night long and have the chance to win free Chick-Fil-A for a whole year!

3. Hero Hike

Date: Saturday, November 6
Time: 9 am-noon
Location: Blevins Gap Nature Preserve 
Event Information

A beautiful trail hike at Certain Trail at Blevins Gap Nature Preserve led by Will ‘Akuna’ Robinson, a combat veteran and Merrell-sponsored athlete who became the first African American man to complete the Triple Crown of hiking. Participants are encouraged to bring donations of snack food for Floyd E. “Tutt” Fann State Veterans Home. 

4. Artemis on the Square

Date: Saturday, November 6
Time: 11 am – 2 pm
Location: Downtown Huntsville
Event Information

Patterned after the successful NASA on the Square events, Artemis on the Square will be a free event featuring fun and interactive experiences for the community to enjoy that are centered around the entire Artemis program.

5. Escape to Margaritaville

Date: 5 performances Friday, November 5 – Sunday, November 7
Location: VBC Mark C. Smith Concert Hall
