Mortimer Brewster is a newspaperman and author known for his diatribes against marriage – and he just got married. Now all that is required is a quick trip home to tell Mortimer’s two maiden aunts. While trying to break the news, he finds out his aunts’ hobby; killing lonely old men and burying them in the cellar. Add the antics of their nephew who thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt and a mysterious visit from another brother, and you have a classic story that will leave you laughing out loud. 5 Things-4

La BohemeLa Bohème presented by Huntsville Symphony Orchestra

@ Von Braun Center Concert Hall, Friday 7:30pm

Most of us know the story of La Bohème, Puccini’s opera that is the most-performed and best-loved opera in the world. Of course, some popular familiarity may come from its much later adaptation into the modern stage musical, Rent, or its substantial influence on the movie, Moulin Rouge. However, in this concert version, guest vocalists, joined by members of the Huntsville Community Chorus and backed by the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra, display the “bohemian” personalities of the young and artistic in this classic story of love and loss.
