2. Food Truck Rallies

Food Truck Rallies are back and better in Big Spring Park! Grab your friends, family, or pets and head downtown to enjoy mouthwatering food truck vendors each month. Don’t forget to bring a chair or blanket to sit, eat, and listen to live music. There will also be yard games and activities throughout the event season.
3. 4th Annual Juneteenth Celebration
Date: Friday, June 21

We are thrilled to announce the 4th Annual Juneteenth Celebration at The Camp, a cornerstone event in our community’s celebration of freedom and culture. Last year’s event was a resounding success, with attendance exceeding 2,000 people. This year’s events will be a two day event, starting Friday afternoon with a panel discussion and talent showcase, and the all day festival on Saturday.
4. NASA in the Park
Date: Saturday, June 22
Time: 10:00a – 2:00p
Location: Big Spring Park East

Back for the first time since 2018, NASA in the Park is a free, public event presented by NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center. The event blends education with fun activities. Attendees can enjoy over 80 exhibits and demonstrations by NASA experts, free musical performances, hands-on activities, yard games, food vendors, and fun for all ages!
5. Let Freedom Ring for All
Date: Saturday, June 22
Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Location:Â Burritt on the Mountain
Event Information
Join us as we celebrate the spirit of freedom and the remarkable journey of the United States of America towards Independence. At 10:15 we will have a formal raising of the flag ceremony. At the close of the day, 3:45pm, we will formally retreat the flag. Local Boys and Girls Scouts, ROTC cadets, and Veterans groups will come together to share their personal stories and experiences of patriotism and public service.
