6. The Rocket City Latin Festival

This casual, charitable St. Patrick’s Day event will feature samples of Irish-themed food and drinks from a variety of local vendors, live performances by Bourbon & Shamrocks and the Fitness Arts Center Irish step dancers, a kids’ area.

Hundreds of vibrant umbrellas will float above the greenery, trails, and turtles of the Purdy Butterfly House at Huntsville Botanical Garden.


10. Treasure Hunt at Gold Mountain @ Burritt on the Mountain

40th Annual Ellen McAnelly Memorial St. Patrick’s Day Parade presented by the Irish Society of North Alabama in Downtown Huntsville.

16. A Painter in the Orchestra: Copland on Canvas presented by Huntsville Symphony Orchestra

Local artist Pamela Willis is well-known for her sensitive landscape and abstract paintings, will collaborate with the HSO to interpret Copland on canvas, letting the music inspire her artistry in real time.
