These Huntsville Holiday Events are geared for adults. Have fun!!
Pottery, Brews & a View with Fractal Brewing
- Date and Time: Nov. 19, 5:30 pm
- Location: Burritt on the Mountain
- Cost: $38
- Event Information
The evening will have groups rotating through three activities:
- Learn about glazes and have fun as you paint your original design on a ceramic, bisque fired beer mug under the tutelage of local artist and business owner Teri Hartmann.
- How do brewers create so many different beers with unique tastes, aromas, and appearances just using malt, hops, water, and yeast? Fractal Brewing Project head brewer, Bradley “Robo” Robison will guide you through a beer tasting showcasing how these simple ingredients are processed differently.
- Choose from a selection of craft beers and other beverages at the cash bar. Delicious boxed appetizers or bratwurst and chips are also available for purchase.
Group size is limited to allow social distancing. Please bring a mask to be worn for portions of the evening.
Cost includes all supplies for the craft and the tasting samples. Your finished beer mug will be available for pick up at Fractal Brewing starting Friday, November 27.
Holiday Magic Dinners

One of Burritt’s most anticipated events, Holiday Magic, is a reservations-only event. During the Christmas season enjoy one of 5 evenings of dinners in the Mansion, Historic houses, or Old Country Church. For 2020 they have expanded the event to 5 Magical nights in an effort to keep distancing and COVID-19 protocols in place. Yule Y’all
- Date and Time: Saturday, Dec. 5
- Location: Lowe Mill
- Cost: Free, $5 parking
- Event Information
Once again, Lowe Mill presents a yearly Christmas market and spirit sampling event. This year the event is taking place with distance in mind and with a luxurious winter stroll throughout the grounds and freshly decked halls. This outdoor market includes maker art, holiday creations, food, and music all with a spirited chaser. Local spirit sampling on site while it lasts and at 5 PM they will light the fabled water tower to signify a bright and shiny stance for the season!
As always, all windows will be well dressed for the early gift getters out there so get your Christmas cheer on and join us for the day. Krampus awaits your visit!
Cruising with The Claus
- Dates: Nov. 27 – 30, Dec. 1, 4, 6, 8, 13, 15, 18, 20 & 22

Join Santa for a most decidedly grown up Christmas crawl. Everyone becomes Santa’s bad little elves for the night. Christmas trivia games, naughty Holiday jokes and of course “Christmas Spirits” to keep you keep you in a festive mood. Make sure you’re on the naughty list this year and come Cruising with the Claus.
Per city ordinance, only alcoholic beverages purchased by riders and brought on board in purple to-go cups from establishments within the Entertainment District. No other alcohol can be brought from home or served on board.
Totally 80s Christmas Party!

Come on out and get your 80s on! Wild Life in The Working Class is gonna be jamming the night away with all your favorite 80s hits! This will be a most excellent way to kick off Christmas week! Have some fun, and wear your favorite 80s getup or heck even your favorite Christmas getup!
FAMILY HOLIDAY EVENTS
These events are geared towards families, so bring the kiddos!
Star of Bethlehem
- Dates: November 27, December 11 & 18
- Times: Doors open at 6:15 pm; Presentation begins at 7 pm
- Location: NTUITIVE® Planetarium
- Cost: $10 – $15
Experience the wonders of the season as you explore the Star of Bethlehem in an astronomical context. Balancing both science and religion, investigate theories on what celestial phenomenon may have led the Magi to the Nativity more than 2,000 years ago.
Holiday Light Show
- Dates: Friday, Saturday, & Sundays, Nov. 27 – Dec. 20
- Times: Showtimes at 7 pm and 8 pm
- Location: Bridgestreet Town Center
- Cost: Free
New this holiday season, a holiday-themed laser light show. Light shows will occur in two separate locations – the bridge near the Belk Courtyard and the Christmas tree near Cinemark.
Candlelight Christmas

- Date and Time: December 4th and 5th at 5:00 – 9 pm
- Location: Burritt on the Mountain
- Cost: $40-50 per carload (up to 6 people), all tickets sold in advance

One of Burritt’s favorite traditional holiday events is prepped and ready for the 2020 version! Burritt will be selling car passes and will have all COVID-19 protocols in place to enjoy the Magic of the Mountain socially distanced.
Kris Kringle is working from home right now, staying healthy for the big night, but you can still share your Christmas wishes with him! Mail your list in the exclusive Santa’s Super Special mailbox! No postage required, and right to Santa’s workshop.
There will be music you love in four of our largest venues for safety. Activities for the kids and goodies for all will be spread throughout the site to ensure plenty of space for social distancing.
Mix 96.9 Von Braun Center Christmas Fireworks Spectacular
- Date and Time: Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 7 pm
- Location: Joe Davis Stadium
- Cost: Free
- Event Information
The first Mix 96.9 Von Braun Center Christmas Fireworks Spectacular will be at Joe Davis Stadium Parking Lot! Just like the parade, this event will be FREE to attend with a blanket donation to help senior citizens in the Tennessee Valley.
10 Nights of Santa
- Date and Time: Dec. 13 – 23
- Location: EarlyWorks Museum
- Cost: $10 per person, $8 for members
- Event Information
The 2020 edition of Santa’s Village will be called Ten Nights of Santa. The event will be held indoors at the EarlyWorks Children’s Museum. The new location will allow organizers to uphold safe capacity limits, social distancing, and sanitizing protocols. The reimagined program will offer several “safety inspired” twists, including Santa visiting with children while being protected by “Santa’s Magic Snow Globe.”
A limited number of tickets for the 10-night event will be offered online and will adhere to EarlyWorks and ADPH safety protocols. This will be a timed entry, limited capacity event to ensure the safety of all involved.
